IPTVO — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

IPTVO is a media player. It plays playlists that you supply — from an Xtream-compatible provider, an M3U URL, or a file on your device. We do not provide, host, resell or curate any channels, films or series, and we have no relationship with your provider.

No account, no sign-up

IPTVO has no user accounts. You never register, and we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to us and we cannot access it:

Uninstalling IPTVO deletes all of it. Deleting a profile inside the app deletes that profile's data.

What leaves your device

Who What Why
Your IPTV provider Your credentials and playback requests, sent directly from your device to the server address you entered To fetch your playlist and stream what you play. This traffic does not pass through us. Your provider's own privacy policy applies to it.
PostHog
(EU region)
Anonymous usage events — which tab you opened, that a playlist finished loading and how many items it held, that playback started and at what resolution, whether a load failed To understand which parts of the app get used and where it breaks
Google Firebase Crashlytics Crash and error reports, with device model, Android version and app version To diagnose crashes

What we never collect

Our analytics deliberately record no content and no identity. We do not send, and could not see:

Analytics events carry counts, categories and technical values — for example “a movie started playing at 1080p” — never titles or credentials.

Artwork

Posters and channel logos are downloaded from whatever addresses your provider supplies in your playlist. Those requests go directly from your device to those servers, which are chosen by your provider and not by us.

Children

IPTVO is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, uninstalling it removes all data held on the device; nothing identifying them is held by us.

IPTVO plays playlists supplied by the user, and the content available depends entirely on the provider chosen. Parents and guardians should be aware that a provider's playlist may contain material unsuitable for younger viewers. IPTVO filters categories whose names indicate adult content, but it cannot vet material it does not host.

Advertising

IPTVO currently shows no advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any advertising appears.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone beyond the two processors listed above. Analytics and crash data are retained only as long as they remain useful for diagnosing problems and understanding usage.

Your rights

Because we hold no account and no identifier that points to you, we cannot locate data about a specific person. To remove everything IPTVO holds about your use, uninstall the app — that deletes all local data. For questions about the analytics or crash data described above, contact us.
